Our Dentists
Richard Browne BDS Richard qualified from University College Cork in 1985. Having As a highly experienced dentist he enjoys the diversity of general dentistry. He takes a minimally invasive approach to dentistry. He is also interested in supporting nervous patients to overcome their fear of dentistry.
David O’Farrell BDS A graduate of University College Cork, since qualifying he has enjoyed attending many post-graduate education seminars in all aspects of dentistry. He is keenly interested in making the patient experience as comfortable as possible. Like Richard he is a strong believer in a minimally invasive approach to dental care, seeking to preserve teeth by careful maintenance and oral hygiene measures. He places a strong emphasis on the cosmetic aspects of dentistry and employs the latest methods to preserve and enhance smiles. A keen sportsman, David plays senior hurling for Blackrock Hurling Club and is starting to get serious about golf.

Marie Nunan BDS Marie was born and bred in Macroom and returned here to work and live with her young family in 2016. She qualified as a dental surgeon from University College Cork in 2000 with honours. She worked in general practice in the UK for many years and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She has a relaxed and friendly manner that puts her patients at ease. Marie undertakes continuing professional development in the latest techniques and developments in dentistry. In her spare time Marie enjoys travelling, cooking and gardening.
Patricia Ryan BDS Tricia’s dental career started out in 2006 where she qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Trinity College Dublin. She worked successfully in private practice in her native Tipperary and Limerick City. In 2011 she returned to Dublin to study dentistry. Tricia enjoys all aspects of dentistry and looks forward to treating you and your family at at Castle Street Dental Practice. Outside of dentistry Tricia enjoys going to the gym, hiking, reading and…….going to Tipperary hurling matches.
